Aim of the project

Shift planning should be standardized and optimized with the new Workforce Management Tool in various factories. Furthermore, the SAP Standard TMW (Time Managers Workplace) should be replaced by a modern and easy to use interface in order to create a uniformly integrated solution.

Course and result

In cooperation with the time representatives and the HR department of Agrana, the requirements for careful planning and the comparison of required and real times have been defined.

It was important to integrate the possibility of correcting required times into the application in addition to the real planning in order to avoid switching between systems and transactions. This resulted in a solution that covers the functionalities of the TMW in a modern interface.

Planners also have the possibility of passing on the anonymized shift plan to employees via various media. For example, via direct email or automated upload to the company’s internal Sharepoint.

The planners are always in contact with their employees in the factories. Therefore, additional employee services such as creating the time sheet from the application have been provided.

Due to the created solution, the time representatives can carry the planning and the actual comparison out without changing the applications and thus save valuable time. In addition, Agrana’s Shared Service Center has the ability to quickly and easily represent and assist in planning in the event of absence of planner.
