The solution is developed in SAP and works on the SAP master data. Interface or anything similar is not needed.
Can I integrate customer-specific functions?
We are continuously developing our solution and we are happy about every idea. Our operating concept provides possibilities for expansions in it.
Does the solution work with my SAP Time Management?
We use standard SAP infotypes such as representatives (IT2003) or absences (IT2001) for our features which are taken into account by the time management by default. If you have a special customer-specific logic, the over-control via BADI (technical point of intervention) will also be possible.
How are the employees found?
The associated employees can be found in many ways such as organizational units, cost centers, time editors or similar. There is also a possibility to establish your own logic via BADI (technical point of intervention).
Can I continue to use my roles and authorities?
Roles created for the planners’ backend work can often be reused. There are always minor adjustments such as access to the application.
Do I have to set up a new infrastructure?
There is no new infrasructure needed for mindsquare workforce management. However, we work on Fiori technology, so you should have built a working Fiori architecture. Doesn’t exist yet? We will be pleased to help.
How can I customize the solution if each area works individually?
All functions, columns, checks, etc. are customisable, so that each area can work in the way that suits best.
What would happen if I close the window during my planning?
The planning is carried out temporarily by us. This means that the planning remains even if you close the browser. As soon as you save the temporary planning, the planning is posted to the infotypes.
How does automatic planning work?
Automatic planning examines qualifications and planned requirements. Individual functions such as the weekly change can be implemented for people with the same qualifications or similar.
What are the reporting options?
I can use the entire scope of SAP standard reporting. Existing evaluations of representations, absences, overtime or individual reports via Ad Hoc Query (SAP Evaluation Tool) are possible. In addition, there is a control view for management.
To what extent is the solution compliant with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation?
Your implemented model for the EU GDPR in HR also applies to the data of workforce management. Therefore, all established authorization, deletion and archiving mechanisms also apply to workforce management data.
Is there also a possibility to use it without SAP?
Our workforce management is a solution that specializes on SAP. Setting up an SAP HCM system only for workforce management is usually not useful.
Can I use the surfaces on the go?
All surfaces can be operated on your phone or tablet. Due to the flexible time selection it is even possible to reschedule by phone. The employee and manager applications are specifically designed for this purpose.
Can the application represent an entire month?
In our annual view, several months can be viewed at a glance. Detailed planning can also show a full month. The number of days is largely related to what information you want to display.
Can is-data be collected?
We have different is-data that can be collected in the system. The selection is gradually growing. Our goal is that we can quickly map the actual maintenance in the TMW (Time Managers Workplace) completely in the planning.
Can I request extra work via the tool?
We have a workflow-supported application procedure where extra work (IT2007) can be requested and booked via any number of approval levels.
Workforce management can be integrated into SuccessFactors. SAP Time Management continues working in the backend, but this is not apparent to the user. As soon as the time management in Employee Central is ready, there will be an integration as well.
